Kathleen Petron, LEED AP Owner
The construction industry has been a part of Kathy’s life from very early in her career. She lived and breathed construction while involved in the family owned general contracting bosiness in addition to working for a number of other contractors throughout her career. This experience afforded her the broad knowledge base of the industry; creation of a project, spec interpretation, bidding process, and fulfillment. She worked on commercial and residential building projects.Completing projects as a GC developed an awareness from many perspectives contributing to the ability to see the big picture.
Kathy was the Operations Manager for an international manufacturer of construction materials for the flooring industry. The processes of product manufacturing focused her attention to the immediate need to educate the construction industry about green building options and sustainability.Having a long time interest in green building practices and sustainability, Daybreak Resources was a natural fit.
Kathy believes that developing better building practices makes for a stronger tomorrow.
